One of the strengths of the IB Diploma Programme is that it invites students to be self-aware about their learning. Another is the emphasis it places on formulating ideas and expressing them to others. These two strands came together on Friday, December 12th, as our Diploma Programme students enjoyed a successful and engaging exhibition centred around Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
The DP2 students brilliantly showcased their learning by presenting their TOK exhibitions. In their posters, students displayed one of their selected three objects to explore and respond to a TOK prompt. Examples of the prompts addressed included: "What is the relationship between knowledge and culture?" and "Is certainty attainable?"
The DP1 students visited the exhibition, coming prepared with thoughtful questions that sparked rich discussion. The DP2 students also generously shared their best advice for navigating the TOK course. The whole occasion created a valuable learning and mentorship opportunity for everyone involved. It was a great example of the collaboration and support woven into the SIS approach to learning.
