Middle School

Essential to the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is Service as Action—where students step up, care for others, and create a positive impact in their community and environment. In other words, it’s all about making the world a little brighter, one good deed at a time.

And here’s the best part: Service as Action doesn’t need to be something huge or world-changing. Small, meaningful acts—like helping someone nearby—are just as powerful. Throughout the year, different opportunities will pop up, starting right here in our own Learning Commons!

Be a Library Assistant! Love books, reading, and other Learning Commons activities? Enjoy creating a welcoming space? As a Library Assistant, you’ll help organise books, keep the space running smoothly, and make it an awesome spot for everyone. More details are available here

If you’re interested, send an email to k.pongo@intsch.se. Tell her a little about yourself, any experience you have, and why you’d be a fantastic fit for the role!

Service as Action is guided by Ms Ruby Eadon (Grades 9–10) and Mr Félix de Pablo (Grades 6–8).
