International families in Stockholm looking for the right school for their children will now have regular opportunities to visit the SIS campus sites, see the facilities and ask questions in person. The first live vent of the year took place in mid-October at the Johannesgatan campus, and naturally focused on Primary School admissions.
The Primary leadership team were complemented by specialist staff answering queries on everything from learning support, mother tongue tuition, after-school activities, and the admissions process. Teachers representing key subject areas were also on hand to show off their classrooms and answer questions. The SPC was also present to talk about the practical experience of parents at the School.
On 12 November, the Secondary School will similarly throw open its doors – and alumni will join the process to talk about their recent experience in the School.
The Open House series is part of a strategy to further engage with the international community in Stockholm and raise awareness of our impressive campus sites, high-quality teachers, and welcoming community ethos. New arrivals in the city can register for their chosen Open House by visiting our event listing, and online events are also available for those not yet relocated, but planning ahead.
