On 20 November SIS held its first-ever Open House event. The evening allowed parents who are seeking an international school for their child, or seeking to change from their existing arrangements, to experience first-hand what SIS has to offer.
The Open House is part of our plans to grow the School as we expand within Norra Latin. While the campus impressed, it was the presentations by our staff, the displays by subject leaders, our readily-apparent dedication to our students, and the clear enjoyment and accomplishment of our students and alumni (and Oggi) that had the biggest impact.
In the days following the event, the admissions office saw a steady influx of new applications from families whose interest in SIS had been sparked or revitalised by their experience, and greater understanding of what sets SIS apart from other schools.
