Our creative students (and we're sure a few mums and dads were involved) put on a fine display for the 2025 Hat Parade. Meticulously prepared by Kimberley Akester and our dedicated music teachers, our student choirs and ensembles captivated an admiring audience of parents and guardians. Prominent among the ensembles was the Orff ensemble who were playing new instruments for the first time. The new Orffs were provided through a grant by the SIS Spirit Fund, making them available on both our campuses and minimising the risk of damage during transportation. You can watch and listen to a recording of them being played on our youtube channel.
Alongside the music, heads were the focus of the event, with hats that ranged from the stylish to outlandish, with plenty of comedy, colour, and creativity, on display.
The event is truly one of the highlights of the SIS year. The splash of colour, the uplifting performances, and the friendly atmosphere make it oine of the special days in our calendar.
