In early November, Beth Skelton, a consultant and coach specialising in language learning, spent the best part of a week in SIS working with our teaching staff in a series of workshops focused on enhancing transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching.

During her visit to SIS Beth emphasised language development and strategies for supporting multilingual learners.

She was impressed by the enthusiasm of SIS staff: ‘I’ve had the absolute honour and pleasure of spending the week here at SIS. You have such dedicated, committed, caring teachers at this school, who want to make education equitable and engaging for all students, and they have been learning all week how to do that for multilingual learners. It has been a joy to be here!’
