Our Mission

Connect & Support SIS Families

  • Encourage and support cooperation between students, faculty, administration, and parents to provide the best possible educational and social environment for the Stockholm International School community.
  • Welcome new families by providing support and information to assist with the transition into Swedish living and the SIS community.

With your support, we're excited to create memorable events and experiences for you and the students.

Our Organisation

If you are a parent or guardian of a student at SIS

YOU are part of the SPC - the SIS Parent Community!

The SIS Parent Community is entirely made up of volunteer parents, with many ways and levels of involvement available for you to engage in.

SPC Board

The SIS Parent Community Board (SPC Board) is a team of parent volunteers dedicated to ensuring everyone feels welcome into the SIS community from day one, enhancing the SIS experience for all students and parents. The Board is elected each year by the parent community and all are welcome to nominate themselves for a position.

Parent Class/Grade Representative

Guided and supported by the SPC VPs (Primary, MS & US), Parent Class/Grade Representatives are a vital link in the SIS Parent Community. As key collaborators with teachers and parents, these representatives connect everyone in their children’s class through communications and events. The goal: make the year fun and function smoothly - while also engaging new & returning parents and students in our great community!

Special Event Volunteers

We need lots of volunteers to make all our events and activities happen! These volunteers are recruited by the Board and/or Class & Grade Representative as the events occur during the school year. We encourage you to get involved and volunteer at any level! It’s one of the best ways to build relationships within the school community: with teachers and staff, other parents and your child’s classmates!
