The Nepal Project is a student-driven initiative within the School, where SIS students carry out fundraising activities to support the Shree Shiladevi Primary School in Nepal. Over nearly a decade, SIS has helped the school acquire teaching materials, make improvements, and even funded the local salaries of two teachers.

Students also visit Nepal annually, teaching lessons and discovering first-hand the experience of life in Nepal. The project develops multiple skills in our students, including collaboration and leadership skills. It also exposes them to a different worldview in terms of social and economic experience in a country so different from their own.
