The 2025 Battle of the Bands at SIS saw Fire House take a bow as the competition winners. Their rendition of Neon Trees' 'Everybody Talks', complete with harmonised vocals and a driving attack from the whole band, found favour with the judges – and the audience. A packed aula enjoyed all four House band performances, and it's pretty clear that this second Battle of the Bands has established this as an annual fixture on the school calendar.
The musicians, sound and lighting crews, music department, and House organisers deserved every bit of applause the audience generously shared with them. We're already looking forward to next year!
