It was a day full of amazing food, friendship and cultural learning - along with performances, community building, and lots of fun. Year after year our SIS community delivers as one of the most vibrant, exciting, and diverse international communities around!
And the school administrators couldn’t agree more. Eric Beck, who joined the SIS leadership team this year added, “As a parent and a school leader, it was such a wonderful way to celebrate our cultures and customs... and through doing so, connect us together as a community.” He went on to add, “Working at other international schools in Beijing, Madrid, São Paulo, Washington DC, Kuala Lumpur, and Korea - I have experienced several different International Day events. The SPC at SIS put on the best one I have ever seen!”
The SPC sends a heartfelt thanks to all the Country Team Leaders, Volunteers, Performers, SIS Security Team, SIS Administration and supporting staff - and the entire community who came out to support this amazing day. It truly takes everyone working together to pull off this highlight event of the year.
“It’s always such an amazing day!” said Pia, President of the SPC. “The food alone is incredible, but then there are the beautiful table set-ups and fantastic performances. It’s just great to see everyone pitch in and all come together to celebrate our community.”
