Volunteers wanted by the SPC

The SPC Buddy Programme is looking for volunteers to start welcoming families for the 2026-27 school year. Maybe you had a Buddy Family when you started at SIS? Now is the time to pay it forward if you can!

SIS welcomes many new families to the school each year, and the SPC Board has created the Buddy Program to ensure that each new family is connected to a current family who can share their own experiences and help them make a smooth transition to the community and the school. The program has shown to be a great success, with both new families and volunteers enjoying the experience:

Buddies can offer advice and support in navigating the transition to Sweden, Stockholm and SIS in particular. They are matched as closely as possible, based on the new family’s priorities and interests and family profile. Get more information for volunteers HERE.
