Did you know that SIS has a student newspaper? The Quirky Quibbler was established by 2 Diploma Programme students in 2015 and each year a new batch of grade 11s (and sometimes other grade levels) join the team to produce the news.
This year we have a big crew that has been very active. They have reported on school events such as The Walk for Nepal, Career Day, the first open mic at NL and more. Lunch is an important topic for SIS students so you can read about our new lunch caterer as well as watch the video team's report. Find out about a new enrichment class – The Global Classroom – or take a look at a new series started about staff behind the scenes at SIS with a feature on Stefan, the Norra Latin receptionist.
Sometimes our students stray beyond the school walls with reviews (Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah) or report on events they are interested in (Tour de France). We also showcase students' photos and illustrations in our picture of the week section. You can subscribe to the QQ or follow it on Instagram. A couple of times a term, a print version is published but it is snatched up as soon as it is hot off the press so we recommend that you take a look at our website.
While you are there, why not leave a comment - it is great for students to hear what you think.
