Dust yourself off, and start all over again...

With just a week to go until our welcome event for returning families in Primary School and new families in Secondary, there is plenty happening behind the scenes at our Johannesgatan and Norra Latin campuses.

Over the summer, Johannesgatan has been a hive of activity. Old materials have been removed, the stairwell has received a fresh coat of paint, flooring has been lifted and surfaces prepared, bathrooms refreshed, and work has been undertaken on the kitchen area, electrics and plumbing. Our team of external tradespeople and in-house experts are working hard to make everything ready for the big day. 

This year, work has focused on the stairwell, kitchen, and lower levels a plan in place to work upwards in the building in coming vacations. 

And it isn't just the buildings that are being ‘refreshed’.

This week, our staff are also taking part in training and awareness workshops designed to help us reflect, learn and prepare for the year ahead. Just as we are investing in the spaces in which our students learn, we are investing in the people who make those spaces come alive every day. External consultants bring fresh perspectives; our Principals and Programme Coordinators are formulating the year ahead with staff, and teachers are becoming familiar with any curriculum changes or other new policy from the International Baccalaureate, to provide the best possible learning experience for our students.
