Late January saw parents take part in another of our series of Positive Discipline (PD) workshops. The workshops are offered free on a first-come, first-served basis. Many have now benefited since they were first offered a few years ago when SIS became an accredited Positive Discipline Lab School.

Through discussions and role play, and with the help of some practical materials, parents can discover how PD can be used in home to help them be effective parents, how to use discipline with kindness and firmness, how to help children become responsible problem solvers, reduce power struggles, and build a home of cooperation and mutual respect.

More workshops will run in future so look out for them when they are announced. In the meanwhile, you can find out more about PD on the official website.
