Calling All Country Volunteers! 

Get ready to celebrate, volunteer, and show your pride for our global community during this year’s SIS International Day, organised by the SIS Parent community (SPC).

Saturday, April 18, 2026 is the big day!

A highlight of the SIS Calendar, International Day is SPC’s exciting all-school event held every year to celebrate the vibrant diversity of our international community! Families are invited to ‘travel the world’ inside Norra Latin and experience the unique cultures and tastes from many of the countries represented in our student body.

Each year, generous parents get together and take on the task of representing their country with an interactive display at the amazing event. Fabulous food, festive activities and fun facts are presented from each country for the community to enjoy together. Last year, there were 25 countries represented. It’s a great way to get to know the community as a whole, but also to find support and welcome new people from different countries!

“It really is the best day for the SIS community, but we can’t do it without our awesome country volunteers!” said Pia Åstrom, president of the SPC Board who is tasked with organizing the event each year. “Even though it’s a big team effort, it’s so fun to all come together and celebrate what we have here at SIS - community, culture and camaraderie!"
